KARIMOKU DESIGN TEAM
[カリモクデザインチーム / 日本]カリモクにとって全く新しいこの取り組みに、社内デザイナー2名も参加。それぞれのデザインを手がけると同時に、社外デザイナー達の技術的なサポートも担当。これまでの、社内の常識や品質要件を前提としたデザインからの脱却を目指しつつ、ブランド全体のデザイン性と製品のクオリティを高いレベルで両立させるべく、チャレンジしている。
Satoshi Seto and Takahiko Fujimori are members of Karimoku's regular in-house design team. For this exeptional project, they challenged the company's regular way of designing, widely determined by a traditional common-sense and internal conventions, to create products that combine Karimoku's highest quality standards with a design that reflects the spirit of the new brand. In addition, they are responsible for the technical support of the outside designers and the commercialisation of their designs as Karimoku products.
