2000年、Stefan Scholten(1972年)とCarole Baijings(1973年)により共同設立。
ミニマムなデザインと細部まで意識された完璧なディテールに特徴づけられるデザインスタジオとして活動するScholten&Baijingsは、独自のデザインを発表しながら、ギャラリーや美術館のコレクションデザインも手がける。National Historical Museum、Zuiderzee Museum(ザイデルゼー・ミュージアム)、Amsterdam Historical Museum(アムステルダム歴史博物館)、 Royal Crystal Leerdam(ロイヤル クリスタル レールダム)、Thomas Eyckなどのクライアントともプロジェクトを進め、その活動はWallpaper、Elle Deco、New York Times、Vogue、de Architect、そしてThe International Design Year Bookなど数多くのデザイン誌に掲載。

Stefan Scholten (1972) and Carole Baijings (1973) established Scholten & Baijings, Studio for Design, in 2000. Scholten & Baijings produce both independent and commissioned work that is presented in galleries and museums, and sold worldwide. In addition to their own collection, they work for companies and institutions such as National Historical Museum, Zuiderzee Museum, Amsterdam Historical Museum, Royal Crystal Leerdam, Thomas Eyck and many more. Scholten & Baijings' work is characterized by minimal design and a keen eye for detail. Their work is published in magazines such as Wallpaper, Elle Deco, New York Times, Vogue, de Architect and in The International Design Year Book.
